Planning a trip to join one of our boat trips? You’re in for a treat. There’s so much to explore around Poole and the surrounding coastline that finding the perfect place to stay is all part of the experience. To make things easier, we’ve pulled together some of our favourite local spots—places we genuinely love and happily recommend to our guests.

Camping & Caravanning – South Lytchett Manor

If you’re the outdoorsy type (or just love the idea of peaceful evenings under the stars), it has to be South Lytchett Manor Caravan and Camping Park.

It’s beautifully kept, relaxed, and perfectly placed for exploring Poole Harbour and the surrounding countryside. You get that proper holiday feeling here—fresh air, open space, and a really friendly welcome. It’s a great base if you’re planning a few days of cruising with us and want somewhere calm to unwind afterwards.

Cosy Apartment Stay – Harbours Edge

For something a little more boutique and special, we absolutely love Harbours Edge (St Tropez Restaurant’s apartment on the quay ).

This place has that stylish, coastal-luxury feel with stunning views and a brilliant location right by the water. One of the best bits? You’re literally steps away from great food and atmosphere downstairs, so you can go from breakfast coffee to evening drinks without ever needing the car. It’s ideal for couples or anyone wanting a relaxed but elevated stay right in the heart of the action.

Hotel with Views – Marsham Court

If a hotel is more your style, we always recommend our friends at Marsham Court Hotel.

It’s got that perfect mix of comfort and coastal charm, with fantastic sea views and a warm, welcoming team who really go the extra mile. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s a brilliant choice if you want to be close to Bournemouth’s beaches while still being only a short trip from Poole Harbour.

Flexible Stays – Quay Holidays

If you’re not quite sure what you’re looking for—or you need something specific for your group—then Quay Holidays is a great place to start.

They’ve got a wide range of self-catering properties, from cosy bolt-holes for two right through to larger homes for families or groups. It’s perfect if you want flexibility, space, and a proper “home away from home” feel while you’re here enjoying the coast.

Make It a Proper Break

Whether you’re here for a BBQ evening cruise, a sightseeing trip, or just to enjoy the beauty of the harbour, there’s no shortage of great places to stay nearby. The best part is everything is so close—you can wake up by the sea, spend your day on the water with us, and be back relaxing in a beautiful spot by evening.
